203 Kilometers of asphalt road was constructed, these included Akim-makin roads Akamkpa, Ekukunella, Agbokini water fall, Ochon highway, Okonni roads, all in very rural and very difficult terrains, these roads were designed and spervised with the strong partnership of the African Development Bank with the primary aim of opening up rural communities in the area that hitherto had to access to any form of infrastructure to enable them to gain access to urban areas thereby affording decent health and medical services, economic and financial access. The benefits of these roads cannot be overemphasized to these rural communities, awarded in 2012 and completed in 2014.
